Therapeutic hobbies : Nature walks and Photography - Seeing God in the beauties of His creations in nature

|

Dear Friends,

How are you? Thank you for stopping by.

Thank God it is Thursday! I am reminded to give thanks to God.

♥ Today I am feeling a bit down. Not sure whether it is because I have been too busy and stressed up with a new freelance work assignments plus some visitations of the sick and elderly. Thank God for reminding me that He loves me and there are many things I can be thankful for daily. As I write this thankful post, I am beginning to feel a little better. I need to remember to count my blessings daily!

♥ Thank God for giving me an opportunity to go for a walk recently. I am often too busy to remember to slow down, relax and re-charge my batteries. I need to make time and effort to consciously take a break and spend time in nature. I love to go for walks in the nature park. Nature always remind me of what a great God we serve, He loves us dearly and is with us each day. He takes care of the lilies and feed the sparrow, we are of more values than many sparrow to Him. So today I thank God for the nature walk that refreshed me and help me to connect with God once again and remember His love and care.

♥ I thank God for giving me the joy of photography and of capture something of the beauties of His creations as reminders to me always of His majesty and love. Here are some pictures I took at Hort Park, Singapore and other places in Singapore. Hope you like them :)

So many things to be thankful for even within busy stressful times. It is amazing how starting to voice thanks can lift the spirit. That is one of the sweet blessings of Thankful Thursdays. Love your pictures!

Hi Nancie! I am back! FINALLY! It is good to be back amonst TT. Makes me feel better. I am glad you are feeling better. Remember to be gentle with yourself.I think my post reflected your's although I did not read it until after I posted mine. Great minds thinking alike. A walk with nature is always good for the soul esp for photographers like us. I too have been capturing beautiful flowers. Last week I got raindrops on Japanese Magnolias. This week firey crocuses at the local supermarket. My motto today was "Take that picture today while you can. You will regret it later if you don't." You may quote me on that!LOL Take good care my friend. Many blessings to you.

Wendy,

The creations of God are truly very beautiful and I love spending time in nature and admire their beauties.

Glad to know you are love travelling. Singapore is a small island in the tropical zone and so it's sunshine and rain all year through. Singapore is multiracial with mainly Chinese, Malay and Indian nationals. We have lots of immigrants from USA, UK, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, China, India and many other countries. So basically you can see multi culture here too. English is our common language and Mandarin too among the Chinese. We have lovely beach, zoo, botanic gardens and other attractions. Hope one day you can visit Singapore :) I would love to meet you.

Thanks again for your visit and encouragements. The Lord bless you too!

Warm regards,
Nancie
