I know Who holds tomorrow

|

 Dear Friends,

Thanks for stopping by!

♥ I thank God for seeing me through another week. It has been a very busy week and very tiring. Thank God for giving me much grace and strength, and simple joy in Him. I am learning to rest in Him and am finding much joy in walking with Him day by day, though there are much ups and downs over the week.

I heard this lovely song "I know Who holds tomorrow" recently and I am reminded that though we do not know about tomorrow and there are many things we may not understand but we know Who holds tomorrow and we know Who holds our hands. It is such a great comfort that no matter what happens tomorrow, God is with us and He will lead us safely through. Should our path be a difficult one, we can still have the assurance of His love for us. This week, I am thankful for this precious reminder from God.

With bipolar disorder, I truly have no idea what will happen from moment to moment. Sometimes my mood changes so quickly and dramatically that I feel I am losing control and don't know what will happen next. Will I go down into severe depression again or rise too high up to mania? At such times, what I need to do is to turn to our Lord Jesus Christ. Though I do not know what will happen and at times it can be frightening, I need to remember that God is in control and He holds my tomorrow. He has promised that His grace is sufficient for me and He will never leave me nor forsake me. Nothing can separate me from His love and He is working all things for my good and His glory even if I can't understand. I will see things clearer in His time and have many reasons to praise Him. So I am learning to depend upon Him day by day and rest in His love and His precious promises. Just taking one day at a time, and moment by moment, and don't worry about tomorrow.
"... for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day." 2 Timothy 1:12
Thank God for His presence with us through all the changing scenes in life. Hope you enjoy this song and will be encouraged too.
I know Who holds tomorrow Lyrics

I don't know about tomorrow,
I just live from day to day.
I don't borrow from it's sunshine,
For it's skies may turn to gray.
I don't worry o'er the future,
For I know what Jesus said,
And today I'll walk beside Him,
For He knows what is ahead.

Refrain
Many things about tomorrow,
I don't seem to understand;
But I know Who holds tomorrow,
And I know Who holds my hand.

I don't know about tomorrow,
It may bring me poverty;
But the One Who feeds the sparrow,
Is the One Who stands by me.
And the path that be my portion,
May be through the flame or flood,
But His presence goes before me,
And I'm covered with His blood.

Refrain
Many things about tomorrow,
I don't seem to understand;
But I know Who holds tomorrow,
And I know Who holds my hand.

yes he does hold our tommorows. My brother suffers from bipolar and it is very difficult to live with I see him switch on and off quickly and all we can do is love him for it is not him but his bipolar that makes his life difficult

I am amazed at the blogs God is leading me to during this season of my life. Today, I needed to know that I wasn't alone on this journey as so often I feel like I am. God is faithful.

Hi Nanci

I have two sisters and a niece who suffer with Bipolar as well so I am very familiar with it's challenges. How wonderful is it really to have the Lord to get through it all? Whatever would we all do with Him? Have a blessed week. HUGS

Brilliant post. How often we spend time worrying about tomorrow which we were never meant to do and which is so futile in the end. Always a good thing to be reminded of and to remember.

Remember the song from days gone by.

Blessings Nancie and thank you for your best wishes. I am over the virus now and we have beautiful warm sunny weather this weekend which is a very welcome change.
